Aram Mooradian is currently a Design Fellow for the MPhil in Architecture and Urban Design at the University of Cambridge. He has worked on the design and construction of numerous cultural buildings while working for Herzog & de Meuron and 6a architects. As such, he has a particular interest in arts spaces and the relationship between architecture and other art forms.

He graduated from the Architectural Association with honours for his project Gold Fictions - a collection of gold sculptures that chronicle the financial narratives of the gold market and the contemporary value systems that accompany economic models. The project was recently displayed at the Victoria & Albert Museum as part of What is Luxury?, a show on contemporary value systems and craft.

Particularly interested in writing, he co-founded the AA's weekly independent free-sheet Fulcrum with Jack Self (Ed) and Graham Baldwin, and has written architectural criticism for publications such as Wallpaper, The Architectural Review and Building Design. He left the AA with the Dennis Sharp Writing Prize for his essay Fly-In, Fly-Out, Fit-In or Fuck Off

He recently served two terms as a member of the Architectural Association's governing council and was a member of its building committee.
